DESCRIPTION:

This travel will be an exciting and unforgettable experience; we will visit the city of Lima modern and colonial with its beautiful beaches. We’ll arrive in Puerto Maldonado Peru’s capital of biodiversity. Following pickup at the airport, our trip begins with a tour of the city by private bus. This natural reserve shelters one of the planet´s most important wild lands. It´s a refuge for many endangered animal species, such as the jaguar, black caiman, giant otter, arpía eagle and others. The Manu is a famous natural park for the opportunity it still offers to observe the Amazonian jungle´s flora and fauna, in their original habitat. Therefore, we invite you to visit Peru, so that you might fill your heart with the memory of this wonderful experience in the Manu´s Biosphere Reserve and National Park. 

In this program, you´ll be able to appreciate the Incan architecture, in several archaeological compounds, like the Qorikancha, Saqsayhuamán, Q´enqo, Pukapukara, Tambomachay, Pisaq, Ollantaytambo and Chinchero, passing by different communities, several of which still maintain typical customs and ways of life of the region, as much in terms of economic activity, such as agriculture and shepherding as of clothing and other aspects that stand out as a part of the Andean culture´s patrimony. Finally, you´ll reach the Historical Sanctuary of Machu Picchu which is an extraordinary masterpiece of Incan architecture. This circuit is full of natural attractions which offer the visitor a unique sensation of adventure, in direct contact with nature. You´ll also live a wonderful and unforgettable experience from departure all the way to the Historical Sanctuary of Machu Picchu. During the hike, we´ll pass by several archaeological complexes of great importance given the features of their architectural structures, dating back to the Incan Empire´s period. In addition, we´ll feel changes in the climate and will observe the diversity of the exotic flora and fauna. The Historical Sanctuary of Machu Picchu which is an exceptional jewel of the Incan architecture.

We´ll visit Amantaní Island and two of the Uros, which are part of a total of 30 floating islands made of totora; an aquatic plant which grows in the lake. On our way, we´ll observe the whole Lake Titicaca´s National Reserve, with its bluish waters, as well as the flora and fauna of that high Andean area.

In this program, we´ll visit the most attractive places of Arequipa or “White City”, as well as the Colca Canyon and Valley, observing changes between ecological levels, as in the flora and fauna. We´ll also contemplate the volcanic range and will see thermo-medicinal waters, the condors´ flight from the Cruz del Cóndor´s Vantage Point, colonial churches, etc. On the way, we´ll go by some of the region´s typical villages and their inhabitants, as well as stone carved scale models and tombs made of rocks. It will be a unique and beautiful experience, stepping back in time.

ITINERARY:

Day 1: Lima-Puerto Maldonado: Flight Lima-Puerto Maldonado:

Time: 07.00 am Arrival to Puerto Maldonado Hours: 09.45 am, reception at the airport, bus ride through the city, travel by boat on the Madre de Dios river flora and fauna watching. Installation in the Amazon Eco Lodge, a welcome drink after lunch. evening guided to the Monkey Island: flora and fauna, dinner, overnight

Day 2: Lodge: Breakfast, guided tour of Cocha Perdida,

flora - fauna with marshes, palm swamps, coming to appreciate the Mirador Amazon jungle, boat trip on the lake, lunch at the lodge Afternoon optional visit to the botanical garden or planting , Amazon is offering the pool, return to the lodge and dinner.

Day 3: Lodge-Airport Puerto Maldonado-Cusco:

Breakfast, transfer to airport. Departure to Cusco. Arrival at Cusco Airport, reception and transfer to Hostal 3 *, Room DWB, free day, acclimatization and walk around the city. Overnight

Day 4: Cusco: Free morning, afternoon, City Tour combined:

Breakfast, guided tour of the Cathedral, Qorikancha, Saqsayhuaman, Q'enqo, Pukapukara and Tambomachay. Overnight

Day 5 to 6: Machu Picchu - Sacred Valley Connection:

Breakfast, guided tour of Pisaq Ollantaytambo, lunch at Urubamba. Transfer to Ollanta Backpacker train to Aguas Calientes, reception and transfer to Hotel Overnight in Aguas Calientes, the next day breakfast, very early way to tour Machu Picchu, afternoon Tourist Bus return to Aguas Calientes Overnight

Day 7: Machu Picchu

Day 2: Breakfast, Transfer by tourist bus, free visit to  Machu Picchu. Bus down to Aguas Calientes, Backpacker train back to Ollanta, reception and transfer to Ollanta tourist bus to Cusco. Transfer to Hostel 3 *. Overnight

Day 8: Cusco-Puno:

Breakfast, day trip local bus hours 8.00 am, 2.30 pm arrival  reception and transfer to Hostal 3 *. Overnight.

Day 9 and 10: Puno:

Uros, Taquile-Amantani 02D/01N: Breakfast on the first day guided tour at the Uros Islands-Amantani, lunch and dinner, overnight in the family home, 2nd day breakfast, guided Taquile Island, return to Puno, transfer to hostel 3 * overnight.

Day 11: Puno, Arequipa:

Breakfast, transfer to the bus terminal day trip by local bus to Arequipa, arrival, reception and transfer to Hostal 3 * overnight

Day 12 and 13: Arequipa-Colca Canyon 2D/1N:

1st day: Breakfast, tour bus trip to the National Reserve of Aguada Blanca, pampa Cañahuas (vicuña) Toqra observed alpacas, llamas, various snow mountains and volcanoes, lunch Chivay buffet, dinner with folkloric show Overnight in Hostal 3 * visit to the baths of Calera. Overnight.

Day 2: Chivay, Cruz del Condor-Arequipa:

Breakfast, visit to the Cruz del Condor, natural viewpoint for watching the condors watching the terraces of the canyon, vegetation, and typical local characters, return to Chivay, lunch, stop to observe Antahuilque lake, litomaquetas of Choquetico, Choquetico hanging graves, passing through the towns of Maca, fauna, the people of Yanque arrival in Arequipa, transfer to selected 3 * Hostal Overnight.

Day 14: Arequipa: City Tour:

Breakfast, Guided tour in the historical city center: Cathedral, Plaza de Armas, the Church and Cloister of the Company, front Tristan Casona del Pozo, Fundo El Fierro, Monasterio de Santa Catalina, Museum Sanctuaries Andinos (Mummy Juanita). Free walking and shopping. Overnight.

Day 15: Departure Arequipa-Lima: Breakfast,

airport transfers and / or bus station. End of our services.
